The Great Barrier Reef Arena at the Harrup Park Country Club in Mackay has a capacity of 8,000.
An International Standard Venue
2000 new permanent seats Media and broadcast facilities for AFL and cricket Purpose-built facilities for players and officials Corporate and event facilities Professional grade male & female changerooms Meeting national and international sporting event requirementsThe venue hosted a match during the 1992 Cricket World Cup between India and Sri Lanka however it was called off after two deliveries due to rain. In recent times, it has hosted AFL pre-season and WBBL matches.
The ground has also previously been known as the Ray Mitchell Oval and as of late 2018 is now the Great Barrier Reef Arena.

Located on the corner of Kippen Street and Juliet Street, parking can be found at Harrup Park Country club.
Public Transport
Bus Bus 303 will take you to Dennis Street near Black Street which is a 5 minute walk from Harrup Park.
