Great Barrier Reef Arena is a world-class sport, entertainment and leisure destination.

The Great Barrier Reef Arena at the Harrup Park Country Club in Mackay has a capacity of 8,000.

The venue hosted a match during the 1992 Cricket World Cup between India and Sri Lanka however it was called off after two deliveries due to rain. In recent times, it has hosted AFL pre-season and WBBL matches.

The ground has also previously been known as the Ray Mitchell Oval and as of late 2018 is now the Great Barrier Reef Arena.

Located on the corner of Kippen Street and Juliet Street, parking can be found at Harrup Park Country club.

Public Transport

Bus Bus 303 will take you to Dennis Street near Black Street which is a 5 minute walk from Harrup Park.
