Segway Safari
Glide gently through the lush surroundings of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on an eco-friendly Segway Safari tour. Start with a 10-minute instruction class teaching the intuitive steering system, then onto a 40-minute fully guided tour of the Sanctuarys vast bush land and rainforest habitats. http://www.cws.org.au/segway-safari/

Currumbin Wildlife Hospital
Sanctuary guests can have a birds eye view of our vets working, and can experience the depth that Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has for the care and welfare of the Australian native animal population. See xrays, ultrasounds and endoscopes streamed live on a flat screen for guests to observe during the procedure. Air Asia Free Flight Bird Show
Air Asia presents Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuarys Free Flight Bird Show. Meet some of Australias most beautiful species of birds from our largest bird in flight the Australian pelican, to our colourful parrots, birds of prey, endangered species and the majestic wedge-tailed eagle. Marvel at the beauty of these incredible creatures as they free fly across the audience in a wonderful display set against the sanctuarys natural environment. Sanctuary Cafe
Sanctuary Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, serving a fresh, modern menu seven days a week.

Koala Kiosk
Fast and fresh. Choose from burgers, fish & chips, chicken & chips or salad wraps. Finish off with fresh fruit salad, ice cream and a cold drink.

Tree Top Challenge Base
Choose from meat pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and wraps as well other muesli bars and other snacks. Finish off with a cold drink or an ice cream.

Sawrey Room
The Sanctuarys 120 seat function room. Suitable for weddings, parties or any special occasion.

Getting There

Travelling by car

From the south
Travel along the Pacific Highway onto the Gold Coast Highway at Coolangatta. From there, follow the highway to Currumbin and take a right turn at the Currumbin Hill lights into Tomewin Street.

From the north
Follow the Gold Coast Highway to Currumbin. Follow the highway over the Currumbin Bridge and onto Currumbin Hill. At the bottom of the hill turn left at the lights into Tomewin Street.

From the M1 Motorway
Follow the M1 Motorway and take exit 95 to Stewart Road. If coming from the south, turn right over and drive over the highway. If coming from the north, keep left when exiting. At the lights at Tugun where Stewart Road joins the Gold Coast Highway, turn left at the lights, follow the Gold Coast Hwy to the Currumbin Hill lights and turn right into Tomewin Street.

Parking is available directly opposite the entrance to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary at a fee.
