Cazaly's Stadium

Cazaly's Stadium

Named after former VFL legend Roy Cazaly, Cazaly's Stadium (Bundaberg Rum Stadium) is located in Westcourt Cairns.

The stadium is the largest sports oval in Cairns, owned by AFL Cairns and is used by AFL Cairns, Queensland Cricket Association and Queensland Rugby League. It features a main grandstand relocated from the Brisbane Cricket Ground in the late 1990s.

Cazaly's Stadium hosts Australian Football, Cricket as well as Rugby League.

The venue has a main grandstand and additional seating on the western side plus a hill that surrounds the rest of the ground with a total capacity of around 13,500.

The grandstand was previously located at the Gabba behind the goals before that ground was redevelopment. It was transported up to Cairns re-built to be the centre-piece of Cazalys Stadium.

The venue was formerly known as Bundaberg Rum Stadium for a few years following a naming rights agreement. That has since expired and the name has reverted back to what it was original known as.

Address also: 45-61 Tills St, Westcourt (side road).
