Drive north up the Bruce Highway then take Steve Irwin Way till the Landsborough town turnoff.
Turn left and follow the road up the hill towards Maleny. When you reach the outskirts of Maleny you will see the turn off to Mary Carirncross Park. Take this left turn and about a Kilometre down you will see the carpark on your right. Take the Rainforest walk (Dont forget the Insect spray). Cross the road for fantastic views of the Glasshouse Mountains. (Make sure you take your camera).
Then back the way you came till you reach the main road where a left turn will take you into Maleny where the Main St shops are almost all open and the Community Hall has a quaint old fashioned Market. Try any of the Coffee shops for great snacks and Coffee. Make sure you dont eat too much, as your next stop is a Cheese factory.
Then head back towards Landsborough (about 3Km) till you get to the Montville turnoff on your left. Take this turn but get ready to turn left again about 300 metres down the road at Maleny Cheeses. For more details, check out their Web site.
From here a few more Ks down the road is the shopping mecca of Montville. You can stay for 30 minutes or 3 hours or more browsing the shops where there is a good variety of things to buy or just wish for.
Back towards Maleny (dont forget to look at the fantastic coastal views) and take the left turn at the Maleny road and head back down into Landsborough a right turn onto Steve Irwin Way and you are on the way home.
