The Brisbane Emerging Art Festival (BEAF) opens Saturday 27th July, 6pm to 11pm at The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, followed by an art forum and an experimental offsite event.

The Brisbane Emerging Art Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts event showcasing Brisbanes leading emerging artists from across visual art, performance, experimental and contemporary music, dance, fashion, film, design and spoken word.

A team of Brisbane-based creative producers will direct and manage the new work showcase, with the aim of articulating Brisbanes contemporary creative culture.

The 2013 artistic program will comprise of:
-:- A visual art exhibition showcasing a selection of artists from Brisbanes contemporary emerging art scene
-:- A performance and presentation main stage
-:- Experimental sound and music spaces
-:- Experimental theatre and dance performances
-:- Urban art installations
-:- An emerging film makers screening
-:- Spoken word performances
