Ballandean Pyramid

The pyramid sits on private land so can only be viewed or photographed from the road.

17.5 metres tall, the Ballandean Pyramid is situated on private property - a stone's throw from a quiet roadside - making this attraction somewhat of a damp squib for anyone with lofty plans to get close or climb on it. But for buffs of the unusual, selfie opportunists and general photography hobbyists, it should not be missed.

GETTING THERE

You can fly to the Gold Coast from Melbourne or Sydney with Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia, or Rex before a three-and-a-half-hour self-drive to the Granite Belt region.
