The Skyrail Experience

The Skyrail experience will take approximately 1½ hours one way, or 2-2½ hours return including time spent at two rainforest stations.

t can commence or conclude at either Smithfield or Kuranda, depending on your direction of travel.

Getting There

Skyrail's Smithfield Terminal is located at 6 Skyrail Drive, Smithfield, just 15 minutes drive north of Cairns city and 50 minutes south of Port Douglas.

Skyrail Coach Transfer: Skyrail operates a regular coach transfer pick-up & drop-off service in the Cairns, the Cairns' northern beaches (excluding Holloways Beach, Machans Beach and Yorkeys Knob) and Port Douglas areas. The coach service will collect and deliver you to your individual hotel - contact our Skyrail Reservations to confirm an exact pick-up time.
